As Kiev intensified its efforts to recover the seized southern Kherson area, Russia launched devastating attacks across the entirety of Ukraine.
Five people were killed and 25 injured in the worst incident, which involved missiles striking the center city of Kropyvnytskyi, according to local authorities.
15 individuals were harmed at a military facility close to Kyiv. Both the northern and southern parts of Ukraine were impacted.
This occurs as Ukraine works to encircle Russian forces in the south of the nation.

Two Russian missiles struck Kropyvnytskyi, the Kirovohrad region's capital, at around 12:20 local time on Tuesday (09:20 GMT), according to regional head Andriy Raikovych.
He said that nearby flying school hangars were hit by missiles, but that none of the injured were in danger of dying.
Separately, senior Ukrainian military official Oleksiy Hromov reported that 15 people were harmed when six Russian Kalibr missiles struck a military installation in Liutizh, some 10 kilometers (six miles) north of the capital Kyiv. No mention of fatalities was made by him.
Russian bombardment of Ukraine's central-eastern Dnipropetrovsk area resulted in one death and two injuries elsewhere, according to local officials.
Additionally, regional director Vitaliy Kim reported that a "large" Russian missile assault in the southern city of Mykolaiv resulted in one person being hurt and the destruction of a school.
