After several delays, Adele's lengthy Las Vegas residency will finally start in November, 11 months after its first scheduled debut.
She announced the new dates on social media, writing, "Words can't explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows."
"I had to cancel them, and I was genuinely upset."
Just one day before the first concert in January was scheduled to start, it was decided to cancel the inaugural run.
The diva apologized to her followers in a sad Instagram post at the time, "I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready."
"Delivery delays" have also interfered with my preparations," she added, adding that "half my staff had Covid and it's been hard to finish the performance."
While many fans cheered Adele on, others expressed displeasure that they had already paid thousands of dollars for travel, lodging, and tickets, only for Adele to cancel once they had left for Vegas.
Few updates have been made since, leaving ticket holders unsure of when the performance will really take place.
Adele said last month in an interview with Desert Island Discs that she had purposefully refrained from commenting on the circumstance.
Of course, I could be someone who says, "I'm working on it," on TikTok or Instagram Live every day, she said.
"I'm working on it, of course! In order to avoid disappointing you more, I won't inform you if I have nothing to report."
She continued by saying that the "brutal" criticism from the program cancellations had turned her into "a shell of a person."
Adele claims the criticism of the postponing of Vegas was devastating.

Adele tears up and cancels her whole Las Vegas residency
The singer apologized for the delays in a statement on Monday, but she stood by her decision to postpone the shows.
She posted a message on Instagram saying, "I realize for some of you it was a dreadful choice on my side, and I will always be sorry for that, but I guarantee you it was the correct one."
She hoped that people might look forward to the new dates after an "eternity of sorting out logistics."
She stated, "I've been most looking forward to being with you in such an intimate place every week and I'm going to offer you the best of myself."
The Weekends With Adele series, which was announced in November, called for the singer to play twice each weekend through April.
Adele was expected to generate more than £500,000 for performance, and tickets ranged from $85 (£60) to $685 (£500).
The residency will now start on November 18 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and it will last until March 2023.
Adele's run will grow from 24 to 32 dates thanks to eight more performances.
Priority is given to those who had tickets to the original concerts because there are currently a very small number of available tickets.
Adele has only performed two outdoor performances in London's Hyde Park to promote her most recent album, 30, aside from the one in Las Vegas.
The Independent praised her "vocal skills and charisma remain unsurpassed" while the Guardian dubbed the spectacle "a beautiful lesson in silly-level celebrity" in their reviews of the performances.
However, a number of reviews observed that the little staged performance demonstrated she could have continued with her Vegas residency without the necessity for an elaborate spectacle.
Neil McCormick of the Telegraph questioned, "What does Adele truly need to do her job?" "A microphone, a good band, and a stunning dress. She had all three in Hyde Park."
